About Ignite Education

Launched in January 2015, Ignite Education was established as a tutoring service to raise the confidence and academic levels of children aged 4 - 18.

Ignite Education is committed to teaching its students to think critically and analytically.

Students discuss and debate concepts and as a result, levels of confidence and self-esteem grow. This is foundational to the success of Ignites students.

Esther McIntosh

Founder of Ignite Education: Esther McIntosh is an accomplished teacher with over twenty years of teaching experience. She served as a Head teacher for a number of years and in 2011 was awarded the Annual Award of Leadership Excellence at the prestigious House of Lords by the Excellent in Education Group.

Having observed the role that confidence plays in determining the academic success of pupils, Esther launched Ignite to promote children’s confidence in learning.
